Using Multicriteria Decision Making to Evaluate the Risk of Hydrogen Energy Storage and Transportation in Cities

Hydrogen is an environmentally friendly source of renewable energy. Energy generation from hydrogen has not yet been widely commercialized due to issues related risk management in its storage and transportation. In this paper, the authors propose a hybrid multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM)-based method manage risks involved transportation (RSTH). First, we identified key points RSTH by examining relevant literature soliciting opinions experts used build prototype decision structure. Second, developed MCDM approach, called D-ANP, that combined trial evaluation laboratory (DEMENTEL) with analytic network process (ANP) obtain weight each point risk. Third, fuzzy assess level for Beijing, China, where energy using rapidly advancing. The results showed skills personnel constituted most important risk-related factor, environmental volatility effectiveness feedback were root factors. These three factors had impact on other influencing hydrogen. Training technical assistance can be mitigate arising differences personnel. An appropriate logistics segmented derived should implemented reduce volatility, integrated supply chain help make more effective.
